Journal of Environmental Horticulture, established in 1983, serves as the research publication of the The Horticultural Research Institute (the research affiliate of AmericanHort). The Journal’s mission is to publish peer-reviewed papers on topics of relevance to the green industry. Unique among horticultural journals, this publication fills a niche in scientific reporting in that articles are targeted to both research and green industry businesses of all types. This is primarily accomplished by providing both a technical abstract (the science of what was done) and interpretive summary (the significance of the science to the industry).
